Dear Families,

Out of an abundance of caution, in consultation with the building principal, our nurse leader and public health, Halifax Elementary School only will be closed Friday, February 7.  

We have a number of students that were sent home on Thursday, February 6 along with a number of staff and students who were absent.  Many of the causes are unconfirmed.  For this reason, the school will be closed to allow our custodial staff to fully clean the building and including high touch surface areas.
